The county and beer cultural heritage

Arve Eiken Nytun is an archaeologist at Møre and Romsdal county council, and will speak about what the county can do for beer brewing cultural heritage. This includes preservation, research, and education.

Arve will tell about how the county has worked together with NIBIO to collect kveik from the World Heritage area in Geiranger and Møre and Romsdal in general. He will also talk about efforts to communicate and safeguard intangible cultural heritage related to brewing. Work is also being done to preserve buildings and objects related to brewing.

He will also speak about opportunities for further development with new projects in the future, and is interested in input from the audience about what the county can contribute to preserving the brewing tradition, researching it, and communicating it to the public.
