Andrus Viil is a farmhouse brewer from the village of Pihtla, on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia. He brews koduõlu, as the local farmhouse ale is known. Andrus learned to brew from his father-in-law, Aarne Trei (now sadly dead), who was a legendary local brewer.

The beer is a raw ale, fermented with Estonian bread yeast.

Together with Aarne, Andrus started the commercial brewery Pihtla Pruulikoda , but at the festival he participates as a home brewer.
