Home brewer: Lars Andreas Tomasgård

Lars Andreas Tomasgård is one of the few farmhouse brewers who is also actually a farmer. His farm is Larstunet in Hornindal, just a few hundred meters from the festival hall. Lars Andreas inherited the brewing tradition together with the farm and is one of the tradition bearers for kornøl in Hornindal. He is the origin of Kveik #21 Tomasgard , and that is of course the yeast used in his beer, which is a traditional raw ale with juniper.
