Home Brewers

Home brewers sign up by purchasing a home brewer ticket. The ticket serves as registration and grants access for two people. Each brewer is expected to bring at least 19 liters of beer in total.

Norwegian Championship in Traditional Kornøl

The Norwegian Kornøl Festival hosts an annual Norwegian Championship in traditional kornøl (tradisjonsøl).

This year there is only one category: tradisjonsøl (traditional ale).

We don’t set strict limits for the category, but the beer should taste like Norwegian traditional ale. Sour beer, heavily dark malt, or a distinct American hop character clearly fall outside the category.

Each brewer may enter a maximum of 1 beer in the judging competition, but may bring unlimited beers for the audience favorite voting.
